The search service can find package by either name (apache), provides(webserver), absolute file names (/usr/bin/apache), binaries (gprof) or shared libraries (libXm.so.2) in standard path. It does not support multiple arguments yet...

SYMAMD is a symmetric minimum degree ordering method based on COLAMD, available as a MATLAB-callable function. Colamd and symamd tend to be faster and generate better orderings than their MATLAB counterparts, colmmd and symmmd. COLAMD is part of the SuiteSparse sparse matrix suite.
